From the Stewpot Project:

“ We cannot thank you enough for your contribution. In these uncertain times, people who were already living on the margins need supports like Stewpot more than ever, and we can only provide these essential services with your help.

During this crisis, we have continued to offer lunch in the Community Kitchen, Meals on Wheels delivery, emergency groceries from the Food Pantry, and shelter to men, women and children at our day and overnight shelters. The staff in our After School Program have, every weekday, delivered meals and school packets to our children and teens. We have expanded our services to include weekday breakfasts, additional shelter beds, and grocery delivery to senior citizens. We have become a resource to local organizations and are participating in both city- and statewide collaborations to streamline and improve services during these uncertain times.

These works of mercy and compassion need all of us, and we truly are able to do it better together. Thank you for sharing what you have, so that, in the words of sacred Scripture, “those who have too little do not have too little” (2 Corinthians 8:15).“

Sincerely,

Rev. Jill Buckley,

Executive Director
